Name of solution/project: Smart Ear - digital models of events in the acoustic and vibration field.

Type of solution/project: sound analysis using artificial intelligence technology for industrial and security systems.

Project implementation: hardware and software, for B2B.

Scope of application: production, logistics, energy, enterprises of the mining and oil refining industry, metallurgy, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, SmartCity.

Developer:
Market Makers LLC
Address: Republic of Belarus, Minsk, st. Timiryazeva, d. 65A, room. 401,

Implementation effect:

  • the ability to perform diagnostics of mechanical and hydraulic systems (not excluding electrical installations) of technological equipment,
  • improving the efficiency of security and fire alarms,
  • organization of access control, voice control of the execution of technological maps and labor protection requirements, the study of the acoustic properties of events,
  • product quality control (ceramics production, research and testing laboratories, railway enterprises),
  • preservation of human life and health,
  • assistance in making managerial decisions,
  • speed of response to emergencies or malfunctions of production lines,
  • solution of tasks of the departments of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Description:

Product implementation - as a module of systems – partnership approach:

  • perimeter or migration security monitoring systems (border and other military structures)
  • burglar alarms, fire alarms and automation systems for access control and management
  • video surveillance system
  • equipment diagnostic systems
  • regular signaling of cargo transport (logistics)
  • smart home systems
  • control and measuring equipment

Product implementation - as an independent software for prompt response to events - direct sales (primarily B2B).

Stage 1. design and survey work (working out of technical specifications, evaluation of the effectiveness of the product at the facility/area, selection of the necessary equipment, assessment of the cost of implementation).

Stage 2. Design and approval of construction and installation documentation (in the case of using installed equipment, as there are portable sensors of our own production).

Stage 3. Purchase (production), delivery, installation, commissioning (minimum functionality, minimum event dataset).

Stage 4. exploration - collection of audio events unique to the object, formation of an audio library.

Stage 5. support, maintenance, refinement of AI for new events and training.

Solution/project status:
Availability of software MVP (role: system operator) and portable sensor prototype. Implemented:

  1. direct sales to business owners in the production, logistics, energy, mining and oil refining industries, metallurgy;
  2. pilot implementation, formation of an audio library of unique mass events;
  3. provision of a subscription model for enterprises and warehouses with similar object properties and tasks (SaaS model);
  4. application of product metrics in partnerships (dependent module to the main security and control systems);
  5. development of solutions for the civil (private, household) segment of consumers.

The project is under development, the first pilot in Chelyabinsk is a solution for carriers (cargo transportation).

PLANNED MARKET ENTRY AND CUSTOMER

  • Republic of Belarus (B2B)
  • Russian Federation (B2B)
  • Member States of the EAEU (B2B)
  • EU, the East, the USA, Canada (B2B)
  • Global mass market (B2C)

Implementation benefits:

Technical - a wide range of hardware-software implementation.

Economic - depending on the solution of problems, the technology may be inferior to profile systems and devices, but the use of microphones and other devices for capturing acoustic vibrations allows you to close the use of several systems and open up the possibility of detecting those events that were not previously available (example: 1 device in the room detects - fire (burning), liquid leakage, glass breaking, normal engine operation or its deviation, presence/ absence of a person in the room, call for help). The superiority of the system implementation cost is obvious.
